Lexcel Team Update
The promotion of one member of staff and the recruitment of
another has seen the creation of a new team at Assessment North
East.
Gemma Shanks has been made Lexcel Manager, after previously
working as Lexcel Client Support Co-ordinator. Gemma, a qualified
solicitor, will provide assessment and consultancy services to new
and existing clients, and will actively promote the Lexcel
Standard.
Gemma joined Assessment North East in September 2008, having
qualified as a solicitor earlier that year within a Lexcel
accredited practice. While training to become an accredited Lexcel
assessor, she has worked with everything from sole practitioners to
large commercial law firms.
Joining Gemma as part of the Lexcel team is Claire Ludbrook, who
has become the new Client Support Co-ordinator.
Claire is a law graduate, who completed the Legal Practice
Course at Northumbria University, before working as a Legal
Secretary for the past year.
She will be the main point of contact and support for Lexcel
clients at Assessment North East, and will co-ordinate Lexcel
assessments and events.
