New Lexcel Processes and Timescales
The Lexcel Office have made a number of changed to timescales
related to Lexcel assessment.
- Missing application data deadline - From 1 March 2012,
practices will have 3 weeks from receipt of the email requesting
additional information to support their Lexcel application to send
this information to the Lexcel Office. The application will be
returned if the additional information is not received within the
deadline.
- Approval to proceed to assessment for initial applications -
From 1 March 2012, initial applications will have 3 months from the
date of the proceed letter to have their assessment conducted
rather than the present 9 months.
- Corrective action duration for initial applications - Any
initial assessments carried out from 1 March 2012, will have the
same corrective action timeframes as accredited practices - 3
months for major non-compliances and 21 days for minor
non-compliances.
